Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary
Whirltronics is currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. Our Engineering department is dedicated to enhancing our production capabilities through the embrace of lean principles and the introduction of innovative processes and equipment. Responsibilities:

· Design of production equipment and automation projects

· Design and testing of new product processes/equipment

· Project management from concept through to completion

· Use lean principles to identify and implement improvements

· Provide technical support to the production team

· Create and review technical drawings and plans using CAD software

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field experience

· Experience using CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor or similar

· 2-years’ experience in mechanical design preferably with machine and automation focus

· Competent in Word, Excel, and Outlook

· Ability to apply math skills and engineering principles to identify and resolve problems

· Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

· Must be self-motivated and a great team member
